Welday Desta Weldu is an Ethiopian, he obtained his Ph.D. in January 2022 in Taiwan from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in collaboration with Academia Sinica under the supervision of Professor Cheng-Chung Wang. After pursuing his Ph.D., he assumed a Postdoc position in the same lab continuing on his Ph.D projects focusing on the synthesis of glycans. From October 2023, he moved to the University of Miami to work as a Postdoc under the supervision of Dr. Christian Agatemor.
